
Fight or Flight mode
When a harmful event or an attack happens to you, we have a natural fight or flight response. This is a physiological reaction, it is an ancient survival system, that we are programmed with for keeping alive and safe, especially in years gone by. Now, however it doesn't always work in our favour. When we experience a traumatic event we can get stuck in this flight or fight response sometimes all our lives. We find it difficult to get through, whereas animals naturally reset it and can calm everything down.

Feelings of restlessness, being nervous and have anxiety
having tunnel vision
dry mouth
dilated pupils
increased heart rate
sweating
rapid breathing
tense muscles
